This suspect used stolen credit cards in Franklin and Brentwood to fraudulently purchase nearly $10,000 in gift cards and pay as you go phones. Information about her identity that puts her behind bars, puts cash in your pocket.

The spending spree started shortly after the cards’ rightful owner noticed them missing from her purse. It is unclear how or when the suspect ended up with them, but investigators intend to find out.

Law abiding consumers are cautioned against buying gift cards from anywhere other than a retail establishment. Buying them from individuals or on the Internet could cost you money as many gift cards bought and sold in this manner were illegally obtained.

With a phone call from police, a merchant can quickly deactivate a gift card, rendering it useless and its buyer holding a worthless piece of plastic.

Call Crime Stoppers at (615) 794-4000 to provide information about this woman.

That call could put up to $1,000 in your pocket.
