NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Interstate 40 West in downtown Nashville is partially blocked Monday afternoon after a vehicle overturned near the Charlotte Avenue exit.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported the crash at about 1:10 p.m. and estimates the crash to be cleared by about 3 p.m.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area as only one lane of traffic is moving through.

Details of the accident were not known.
