Dozens of Williamson County students will soon be honored at a reception for the 2012 Scholastic Art Award regional winners. The Scholastic Art Awards is one of the oldest and most prestigious student art competitions in the country.

The Awards Reception to honor Gold and Silver Key winners and their teachers will be held in Cheekwood’s Massey Auditorium Saturday, January 28.  Regional winners are eligible for scholarships and cash prizes, are part of the exhibition at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art, and have their work sent to New York City for national judging.

The Scholastic exhibition will be on view at Cheekwood in Massey Auditorium from January 27 through February 19. Select this LINK To view a complete list of all the winners.
