The Brentwood Library offers book club discussion kits to Brentwood Library cardholders. Each kit contains ten copies of one title, discussion questions and author information.  Book club sets are available in either a plastic tote or a study bag, whichever you prefer.

The following "Book Club in a Bag" kits are available in the library's collection:

• Daughter of Fortune by Isabel Allende
• The Book of Bright Ideas by Sandra Kring
• Oxygen by Carol Cassella
• Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
• The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson
• Home by Marilynne Robinson
• The Book of Salt by Monique Truong
• Strength in What Remains by Tracy Kidder
• Little Bee by Chris Cleave
• The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery
• Whistlin' Dixie in a Nor'easter by Lisa Patton
• Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

A kit is checked out to a single book group member, who is responsible for all of the materials. The group may keep the kit for eight weeks.

If a title is checked out, you may place an online hold by clicking “Details” next to the desired title, clicking “Place Hold” in the left navigation box, and following the instructions. If a title is showing as available in the library, you may place a hold by calling 371-0090, ext. 807.
